80Beers Brew Meisters

Because each brewery and pub can connect over the Internet and update their own brewery and beer data, the 80Beers database will be the most comprehensive and accurate database on beers and brewers ever assembled.  To assist in database maintenance, knowledgeable and reliable members are asked to serve as regional Brew Meisters.  These Brew Meisters visit the breweries and pubs in their area and help maintain the data for these locations.  Page change suggestions sent by visitors to the 80Beers site are routed first to a regional Brew Meister for confirmation.  Once the information is confirmed with the brewery, the page is updated either by the Brew Meister or the brewery representative. 

What do the Brew Meisters get for their efforts?  Not much, because Brew Meisters are unpaid volunteers.  Next time you see an 80Beers Brew Meister in your local brewery, buy them a beer to thank them for their efforts.
